Habitat Quebec takes over the Ormstown Project

Posted on by Habitat Quebec

Last Friday, February 10th, the New Frontier School Board delivered the four modules of the house built by its students for Habitat for Humanity Quebec. In a small ceremony, the people present saw the spectacular show of a house arriving by truck and being put in place by a crane!

Now, it’s up to Habitat Quebec to finish the work so two low-income families can move in 2017 and start a new life!

We thank our partners New Frontiers School Board, the Châteauguay Valley Careed Education Centre, the Town of Ormstown and EcoHabitation, who together made this project happen, and also Bain Magique, CRH Canada, Roxul, Priest Construction et Électricité, Convectair, Crête Excavation, Delta Cosella-Dörken Products, Finition EPR Béton inc.and Bourcier portes et fenêtres.
